Wooden Parquet Floors Inspiration
Parquet flooring is synonymous with elegant interiors and has a timeless quality that is always in trend.
One of the most popular parquet styles for modern properties is a herringbone pattern, where planks are cut in a rectangle to give a staggered zig-zag look. We’ve noticed a lot of herringbone parquet floors in Scandinavian design magazines and interior blogs recently (such as Enki and Nordic Design) where they are finished in a whitewash, light grey or natural look.
The other laying option for parquet floor is the chevron pattern, where the wood is cut at an angle to form a sharp point, giving a beautiful ‘V’ pattern. The chevron pattern has the ability to make narrow spaces appear wider, but equally suits a large, open plan room.
Wooden parquet flooring reflects the trend for homes that mix classic design with a contemporary twist. Whichever pattern you choose, a parquet floor is guaranteed to add interest and character to your room
Our parquet collection includes a diverse range of traditional warm tones as well as contemporary light shades. The possibilities are endless.
